He shows excellent tackling both in one on one and in open field situations. There are no questions to his tackling skills.
For a larger sized strong safety he displays surprising ability to cover large areas of the field defensing the run
He is a playmaker in that not only does he find his way around the ball--but either makes a play on the ball/ ball carrier--or comes away with ball.
He is as talented and versatile of a safety evaluated in this entire 2011 draft class!

Summary
DeCicco was my highest rated Strong Safety in this years draft period! He was given a late 3rd RD value.Yet he went undrafted???????? He displayed a high level of skill and talent performed whenever evaluated on film. Guess time will tell if this prospect should have been draft worthy?
